Kira and I have often looked at the Bluetooth logo and thought it looked like a bindrune. 
They were also just discussing that on The Troth's email list. As it turns out, it is:

It's a bindrune combining the Younger Futhark "H" and "B" for Harald Bluetooth, a tenth century Danish King.
Huh, that's rather cool.
